roy lichtenstein

Roy Lichtenstein, 1963, oil on canvas, "hopeless"

I have this picture hanging in my room. I really love how he used a lot of primary colors. Even on the shades that don't look primary, if you look close you can see how Lichtenstein used tiny dots (I believe they are known as Ben-Day dots). His style 'comic book' style is well known and if one of my favorite pop art types.
