The use of color and shape in this painting makes it extremely beautiful and interesting. The colors used for the horses are not typical yet it works for the painting. I think this paining shows the beauty of these animals, from their body shape to their movements they may be making. I enjoy many of Franz Marc's paintings but this one is especially appealing to me.

I think this paining shows the beauty of these animals, from their body shape to their movements they may be making. I enjoy many of Franz Marc's paintings but this one is especially appealing to me.
