Entrance to the Harbor

This painting is called "Entrance to the Harbor" and it is done by Georges Seurat. It was done in 1888 and it is a oil on canvas. The painting is 21 5/8 x25 5/8. I like this painting because I like boating and it reminds me of the summer time and people being on the water with their boats. The colors and the technique he used to paint this painting is wonderful. I like how this is painted from a distance so that you can feel like you are on the top of a mountain or rock looking at all the boats. I also like how he makes the images that are closer to be larger and the boats that are further are smaller like they are out in the distance. I like everything about this painting.
