Yellow Seacoast

Yellow Seacoast by Georges Braque was done in 1906. The coast and the colors created a very peaceful scene. I liked the use of his bright colors for the painting more than his pictures with a duller palate. This one is much more vibrant as opposed to the others which look more washed out and like old newspaper. While the colors aren't really accurate when compared to a real life scene they are still believable and have a sunrise/sunset feel to it. This painintg doesnt appearto be influenced by his cubism stage yet. I couldnt find the exact pricing of this particular painting but his ranged from $15,000-35,000.
